Requirements

  • Must be an Acces-VR referral
  • Must have Acces-VR Work Development and Community Work Experience referrals

Nice To Haves

  • Capable to sit or stand in front of a computer for long-periods of time
  • Able to work in open space floor plan
  • Capable to move throughout work day and follow people served throughout community
  • Work alongside co-workers within 3 feet
  • Able to move in tight spaces
  • Occasional lifting of > 25+ pounds

Responsibilities

  • Obtain real work experience for up to a total of 320 hours through the Access VR Work Experience program.
  • Engage with assigned Vocational Counselor to set up work experience.
  • Facilitate monitoring of progress during work experience.
  • Make arrangements for completion of required paperwork with the employer to receive paid work experience.
  • Receive support from their Vocational Counselor.
