About The Position
Community Based Support Professional - Santa Barbara / Goleta. This role is for individuals who value people and connection, thrive with genuine relationships, and are excited about movies, music, festivals, food, and more. The position involves exploring communities, enriching passions, and making a positive impact in other people’s lives as a F.A.D.E. Associate. F.A.D.E. (Facilitating Alternative Day Environments) and C.I.T.P. (Community Integration Training Program) are community-based day services that assist adults with developmental disabilities in participating in the community and increasing their accessibility to the workforce.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (required)
- Responsible, and can assist in goal progress tracking
- CPR / First Aid certification (Training will be provided if you’re not certified or need to be recertified)

Responsibilities
- Support participants in volunteering & attending events, and exploring their community
- Encourage and model independent living skills
- Assist participants meet their goal through person-centered planning
- Encourage participants to be physically active and engage in meaningful fun activities
