About The Position
Community Based Support Professional / F.A.D.E. Associate - Ventura County. This role is for individuals seeking a job that makes a positive impact in their community, values people, empowers others to thrive, brings fulfillment, and positively impacts the world. The job encourages exploration and connection with the local community. F.A.D.E. (Facilitating Alternative Day Environments) and C.I.T.P. (Community Integration Training Program) are community-based day services that assist adults with developmental disabilities in participating in the community and increasing their workforce accessibility.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (required)
- Responsible, and can assist in goal progress tracking
- Someone who is 21+ years old
- CPR / First Aid certification (Training will be provided if you’re not certified or need to be recertified)

Responsibilities
- Support participants in volunteering & attending events, and exploring their community
- Encourage and model independent living skills
- Assist participants meet their goal through person-centered planning
- Encourage participants to be physically active and engage in meaningful fun activities
- Be a dependable positive impact in their day-to-day life
