About The Position

This position is responsible for providing case management, care coordination, and scheduling of individual & group counseling for the residents of Sallie House. The role involves maintaining case files for all Sallie House residents. Key responsibilities include preparing individual service plans for children following contract guidelines and accreditation standards, utilizing information gathered from direct observation, community input, and staff interviews. The coordinator will also schedule clinical appointments with outside vendors based on the individual needs of the children and meet with outside clinical service providers to understand specific resident challenges and use that information to better serve each resident.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in social work, counseling or related field and a minimum of two years’ experience in the field of social work, one of which has to have been in child welfare services, OR Bachelor’s degree in social work and a minimum of four years’ experience in the field of social work, two of which have to have been in child welfare services.
  • Must be cleared by credit checks, Local Law Enforcement, State of Florida Dept of Children and Families, and FBI background screens
  • Valid State of Florida Driver's License and driving record approved by Territorial Headquarters Risk Management.
  • Must possess valid CPR/First Aid Certification.
  • This position requires a level 2 background screening.
