About The Position

Southwest Christian School is looking for strong candidates to join our team who have a passion for using the vehicle of athletics to deepen the relationship student-athletes have with Jesus Christ. The ideal athletic coach must demonstrate strong leadership in sport knowledge, player development, sportsmanship, integrity, and character development. SCS coaches are expected to demonstrate patience, humility, integrity, and kindness while performing the day-to-day duties of the role and to prayerfully work with administration, faculty, students, and families to develop and maintain a school which is distinctively Christian, academically excellent, and globally minded. Positions are being filled for the 2026-2027 academic year. Specific coaching positions include: Assistant High School Volleyball Coach, Assistant High School Football Coach, Assistant Cheer Coach - Practice Only, Assistant Middle School Boys Soccer Coach, Head Middle School Girls Basketball Coach, Assistant Middle School Girls Basketball Coach, Assistant High School Boys Basketball Coach, Head Middle School Swim Coach, Head Middle School Softball Coach.

Accept and carry out responsibilities and make competent, professional decisions.
Eagerly participate in professional development activities and the evaluation process.
Maintain a professional personal appearance that is a Christian role model of cleanliness, modesty, good taste, and is in accordance with school policy.
