About The Position

The Healthy Homes Department operationalizes environmental hazard compliance efforts at NYCHA. The Office of Mold Assessment and Remediation is responsible for managing performance management, performing quality assurance, and providing technical assistance to support Public Housing Operations for mold remediation at NYCHA.

Requirements

High school graduation or equivalent and three years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to duties described above; or
Education and/or experience which is equivalent to "1" above.

Responsibilities

Use communications tools such as phone, Maximo Asset Management system to coordinate completion of mold and leak work order ticket.
Communicate effectively with NYCHA residents and NYCHA’s Operations team to coordinate scheduling and facilitate repairs.
Log efforts and communications into Zendesk case tracking platform, while answering OCC’s inquiries.
Log efforts and communications into Zendesk case tracking platform for Healthy Start initiative.
Evaluate and adjust programs for quality and effectiveness to meet the resident and Authority needs.
Conduct site visits as required.
Perform other clerical support duties as assigned, including general recordkeeping.
Perform other related duties.
