Community Associate

GlimpseNew York, NY
$78,000 - $105,000Onsite

About The Position

Glimpse is the leading AI platform for CPG brands, automating critical back-office workflows. Since launching in April 2024, the company has experienced rapid growth, securing significant funding and a substantial customer base. The Community Associate will be central to Glimpse's community and events strategy, reporting to the Director of Community. This role involves building operational infrastructure for enterprise-level community programs and independently managing community and events for the mid-market and SMB segments. It's a high-ownership, high-visibility position with significant impact.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in community, events, field marketing, partnerships, or BD — ideally at a B2B startup or high-growth company
  • Operator first. You're diligent, executional, and ownership-driven — you run things to completion and don't need to be told twice
  • Highly organized project manager. You're juggling multiple events at once, managing vendors and RSVPs, and ensuring nothing drops
  • Polished and a natural connector. You're comfortable in rooms with finance leaders, operators, and founders — and they leave feeling well taken care of
  • Comfortable with outbound and a sales mentality — cold outreach and list-building don't intimidate you
  • Experience with CRM tools for tracking and reporting
  • Based in or willing to relocate to New York City; available to be in-office at Glimpse HQ

Nice To Haves

  • HubSpot experience a plus
  • Familiarity with the CPG or retail space is a bonus, but not required — curiosity about the category is

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end execution of mid-market and SMB events: venue sourcing, vendor coordination, maintaining budgets, RSVPs, run-of-show, and day-of logistics
  • Support the Director of Community on enterprise event execution — including high-touch dinners, partner activations, and hosted experiences with anchor sponsors
  • Manage event timelines and ensure nothing falls through the cracks across simultaneous events in multiple cities
  • Travel as needed to host, connect with, and build relationships with attendees in person — serving as a Glimpse ambassador on the ground
  • Formalize and build out Glimpse's community operations infrastructure — including CRM setup, contact management, and event tracking workflows
  • Own day-to-day community operations: member communications, onboarding, follow-ups, and relationship maintenance across the mid-market and SMB segment
  • Build repeatable processes and playbooks for how we run, track, and measure community and events
  • Track pipeline attribution and report on events performance to the Director of Community and broader GTM team
  • Drive event RSVPs and qualified attendance through proactive outbound — cold email, LinkedIn outreach, warm intros, and conference targeting
  • Build and maintain relationships with prospects, connectors, and partners to grow event audiences over time
  • Coordinate with co-hosts and partners on joint events to extend reach and co-market across the CPG ecosystem
  • Treat community and events as a sales channel — you understand pipeline and are motivated by seeing community turn into revenue
  • Support the content layer around events and community — recap posts, LinkedIn content, email follow-ups, and community newsletters
  • Help develop Glimpse's presence within the CPG finance and operations community by surfacing relevant events, associations, and conversations

Benefits

  • Competitive salary with meaningful equity
  • In-person team in NYC – high ownership, fast feedback loops
  • Direct impact on a company growing at an exceptional pace
  • A front-row seat to building the operating system for CPG brands
