About The Position

The Dinerstein Companies (TDC) is seeking dynamic individuals to join their team as Community Assistants. TDC is a large developer with over sixty years of experience in multi-family and student housing. They focus on genuine hospitality and authentic care, aiming to build relationships that create lasting memories. Community Assistants will be the face and personality of the property, supporting leasing efforts and fostering positive resident relationships once the property is operational. This role requires a commitment to customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all leasing inquiries, conduct tours, perform follow-ups, and assist prospects with the application process.
  • Ensure digital and/or physical lease files are accurate, complete, and organized.
  • Report traffic, application, and lease number variances to appropriate team members.
  • Ensure daily tasks and follow-ups are completed and documented.
  • Maintain a high energy and professional demeanor.
  • Provide excellent customer service to residents, parents, and prospects.
  • Manage resident requests, concerns, and complaints in a timely manner.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of community events.
  • Tend to after-hours emergency calls as needed/required by the on-site management team.
  • Participate in seasonal team events, including turn and quarterly unit inspections.
  • Answer resident questions regarding lease terms, charges, and any lease violations.
  • Complete online coursework on fair housing, customer service, and company policies.
  • Follow up on prospect, resident, and maintenance surveys to ensure the highest level of customer service.
  • Conduct regular audits of lease files, resident ledgers, and property reports.
  • Participate in daily reports on lead traffic and leasing efforts.
