About The Position

Energetic, outgoing, flexible, and extra-extroverted individuals are sought for the role of Community Ambassador. This position will be based at the Guest Services Desk at Carlingwood Shopping Centre in Ottawa. The ideal candidate will have a knack for fostering positive relationships, be proactive and approachable, possess creativity and an interest in marketing, have sales experience or interest, be self-motivated and extraverted, and be an independent self-starter with a strong work ethic and an understanding of teamwork.

Requirements

• A secondary school education
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, in English
• Exceptional organizational skills
• A growth mindset and a great attitude
• An interest in becoming a part of the Carlingwood Community

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for shoppers and retailers
• Support the promotions team on event days
• Be responsible for gift card sales
• Answer and direct phone calls and operational requests
• Ensure the directories are up to date
• Engage tenants
