About The Position

The Community Ambassador provides general office support through a variety of clerical activities and related tasks. This role involves answering incoming calls, directing them to the appropriate associates, and greeting and directing visitors. The position requires providing high-level internal and external customer support with a warm welcome and seamless experience. The ambassador will collaborate with the on-site team lead and associates to design and coordinate catering services, meeting setups, and special requests for meetings and events. Additionally, the role involves working closely with building management and the hard services team to schedule preventative maintenance and general office repairs, entering work orders, and following up with the facilities team. Culinary, menu planning, and food service knowledge are considered an added value. The ambassador will also be expected to speak knowledgeably about the office, building, surrounding areas, transportation, local restaurants, and other points of interest. A genuine sense of hospitality and the ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and juggle multiple jobs simultaneously while interacting with visitors in a public environment are essential. Excellent listening and oral communication skills, along with basic computer skills and knowledge of office technology/equipment, are required.

Responsibilities

  • Answers telephone calls and directs callers to appropriate associates.
  • Takes and retrieves messages.
  • Provides callers with general information, including company address, directions, and other related information.
  • Greets and directs visitors in a friendly, professional manner.
  • Uses intercom/voicemail system to announce appointments and calls.
  • Receives, sorts, and forwards incoming mail; coordinates the pickup and delivery of packages and mail.
  • Opens and closes visitor area.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Collaborate with on-site team lead and associates to design and coordinate catering services, meeting setups, and special requests for meetings and events.
