The Community Alliance Intern supports the team by building trusted relationships across local communities and advocating for both the Food Allergy Community and the Food Allergy Institute (FAI). This role provides hands-on experience in community outreach, event coordination, and public advocacy. By serving as a visible, empathetic advocate, the intern will help educate families, raise awareness for the Tolerance Induction Program (TIP), and expand our community footprint. This position requires approximately 50% local travel throughout Los Angeles and Orange County. The ideal candidate is mission-driven, enthusiastic, and eager to learn how to connect with families and community organizations. They thrive in a dynamic environment, are highly organized, and are ready to tackle both administrative event preparation and face-to-face community advocacy.
