About The Position

We are looking for an intern with a desire to expand their knowledge about the practice of corporate citizenship and the impact of Texas Mutual’s Community Affairs program.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, or experience.
• An interest in at least one of the following: non-profit relations, charitable giving, corporate communications, corporate citizenship practice, grant-making, sponsorship management, public relations, cause marketing or community partnerships.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
• Texas residency

Responsibilities

• Learn about Texas Mutual’s community partnerships.
• Participate in the grant-making process.
• Help with tasks related to event sponsorship commitments.
• Use online platforms that track volunteering and charitable giving.
• Select and complete research projects on Community Affairs topics.
• Gain an understanding of the importance of corporate citizenship.
• Complete tasks and projects as assigned by the department.
• Participate in division meetings and trainings.
• Attend multiple in-person events, as a representative of Texas Mutual.
• Collaborate with partners to further our philanthropic mission.
