About The Position

Paragon Behavioral Health Connections is a comprehensive behavioral health organization dedicated to positively impacting individuals and families through compassionate, client-centered care. We aim to deliver personalized care that uplifts clients and builds supportive connections within communities. Through community-based or in-home services, and digital solutions, we meet clients where they are physically and emotionally to provide the right support at the right time. Serving communities across Colorado, we offer equitable and creative "one-stop" behavioral health services, including in-home mental health and substance use treatment, crisis stabilization, early childhood support, intensive outpatient programs, assertive community treatment, medication management, and wrap-around support. Our vision is to empower individuals and families with complex needs to overcome challenges, build essential skills, and access resources for long-term well-being. Our programming includes intensive care management, Crisis Stabilization, Assertive Community Treatment (ACT), Child First, integrated co-occurring Intensive Outpatient treatment, individual and family therapy, medication management (including MAT), peer support, supported employment/housing, and holistic recovery services.

Requirements

Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Clinical Psychology, or related field (required).
Within one month of employment must obtain a preliminary clinical license (Provisional: LPCC, LSW, LMFTC, etc.).
All licenses must stay up to date and valid during employment.
Minimum 2 years in behavioral health/clinical service preferred.
Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, willingness to travel to homes/communities.
Requires living in or near the location of the posting.
Knowledge and experience utilizing DBT and CBT interventions.
Strong written and oral communication skills via phone and face-to-face.
Strong documentation skills to ensure assessment, treatment planning and progress notes are completed.
Understand HIPAA, protected health information, and confidentiality.
Proven ability to work with a high level of independence, maintain confidentiality, prioritize assignments, and manage time effectively.
Strong conflict resolution skills.
Be committed to building trust and engagement with individuals and families from diverse backgrounds.
Demonstrates rational decision-making skills.
Demonstrate sensitivity and acceptance of individual experiences.
Knowledge of parenting skills, childhood developmental stages, and similar.

Responsibilities

Complete and routinely update psychiatric diagnostic evaluations and treatment plans to align with the goals of our clients and families.
Provide crisis intervention as appropriate.
Conduct individual and family interventions as appropriate.
Provide clinically appropriate services within the community and in clients’ natural settings whenever clinically indicated.
Facilitate recovery focused groups based on your interest and area of expertise.
Leverage the strengths of the client to develop skills to improve symptoms and overall well being.
Assist clients in improving their self-concept, social skills and awareness, healthy relationships, and educational/employment achievement.
Embrace opportunities for continuous learning and development, actively seeking out new research, methodologies, and perspectives to enhance clinical practice.
Adjust therapeutic techniques and interventions to meet the evolving needs of clients.
Adhere to professional codes of ethics and legal regulations, maintaining high quality documentation, confidentiality, boundaries, and cultural sensitivity.
Recommend and direct interventions and support that is appropriate for their clients and families on their assigned caseload.
Leverage care managers to arrange necessary community support services, such as food, housing, child care, educational/vocational training, and other benefits.
Recommend interventions that care managers can deliver to clients, including skill building, parenting supports, and other appropriate interventions to reinforce treatment plan goals and build skills in community-based settings.
Identify and recommend solutions to the multi-disciplinary team member(s).
Submit Progress Summaries to the referring agencies with ongoing recommendations and make contact with these agencies as appropriate.
Perform other duties as assigned.
