About The Position

The Communications Specialist IV is responsible for assisting with writing and communication projects that support a cohesive federal communication strategy which includes workforce communications for civilians and military and external public affairs opportunities. Plans and implements communication strategies. Chickasaw Nation Industries, Inc. serves as a holding company with multiple subsidiaries engaged in several lines of business (Business Services, Health, Infrastructure and Engineering, Mission Optimization, Technology and Transportation) for the federal government and commercial enterprises. Requirements

  • Must possess appropriate level of certifications for this position as required by the contract.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the required customer clearance for access to systems, facilities, equipment and property.
  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of seven plus (7+) years relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education/experience.

Responsibilities

  • Implements integrated communication strategies across social media, media relations, email campaigns, and related channels.
  • Coaches and mentors communications team members.
  • Develops and delivers communications materials aligned with branding, messaging, and digital strategies.
  • Communicates effectively with project stakeholders through clear, professional written and verbal engagement.
  • Produces high-quality client deliverables.
  • Supports public events, internal agency events, media relations, knowledge management, and preservation of agency history.
  • Elevates brand awareness through events, social media, and other communication channels.
  • Works independently with minimal supervision and manages complex tasks and projects.
  • May serve as Team Lead, providing training and mentorship to junior staff.
