About The Position

Under the general direction of the Human Resources Manager, this role is responsible for developing and implementing communication strategies to promote TMCR’s work, manage its public image, and ensure consistent messaging across various channels. The specialist will create content, manage communication channels, and build relationships with stakeholders. Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field, unless waived by the Director of Human Resources.
Minimum of three (3) years of experience working in communications and graphic designs.
Mac experience, working knowledge of Adobe CC, Microsoft Office suite and HRIS experience required.
Superior written, verbal and interpersonal communications skills.
Highly organized, able to multi-task and meet multiple deadlines, flexible, proactive and ability to focus on details required.
Must be 21 or older.
Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen and background investigation, as well as obtain and maintain a gaming license.
Knowledge and experience in cross-functional project management methods and techniques.
Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
Knowledge of records management and basic accounting procedures.
Skill in operating word-processing, spreadsheets, and PowerPoint programs in a Windows environment including HRIS.
Ability to craft clear, concise and engaging content for various audiences and platforms.
Ability to develop and implement communication strategies that alight with organizational goals.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Ability to interact effectively with executive management.
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with individuals of varying social and cultural backgrounds and with co-workers at all levels.

Responsibilities

Write, edit, and distribute content for various channels, including press releases, newsletters, social media, website content, and marketing materials.
Develop and implement communication plans aligned with TMCR and HR’s goals and objectives.
Manage and maintain social media content for Human Resources and other stakeholders as required.
Build and maintain relationships with community, influences and other stakeholders.
Assist with the planning and execution of events, webinars, and public-facing activities.
Coordinate the production and distribution of communication materials.
Track and analyze the effectiveness of communication efforts and make adjustments as needed.
Provide guidance and support to others on communication best practices.
Manage and respond to communication challenges.
Prepare reports on communication activities and their impact.
Responsible for creation, review and distribution of internal communication to Team Members including utilization of bulletin boards and other appropriate communication channels.
Responsible for creation of internal communication for newsletters.
Plan, create and edit publication of internal quarterly newsletter.
Design creative and informative media to utilize in all Team Member engagement communications.
Identify and implement programs to enhance Team Member morale, as aligned with both stated and desired operating culture within the work environment of the property.
Assist in the coordination of Team Member recognition programs where required.
Coordinate Team Member appreciation events, All Team Member Meetings and other assigned events.
Conduct event evaluations and report findings.
Create and design graphics for internal use.
Communicate with Marketing Department to ensure current Casino graphics are being utilized.
Performs other duties as required.
