Marksman Security Corporation is hiring for a Communications Security Operator. This role is part of the growing North America Operations Center (NAOC) team, where the operator will act as a Dispatcher. The position is critical for maintaining the safety and security of people, assets, and operations across North America. Responsibilities include monitoring security systems, dispatching response personnel, and coordinating emergency communication 24/7/365. The site is a Headquarters location, demanding the highest level of professionalism, customer service, technology skills, and excellent work ethics from candidates.

Requirements

  • At least 21 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Non-Commissioned security license through the state of Texas
  • Previous dispatch experience required
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Familiarity with report writing
  • Monitoring and surveillance experience
  • Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks
  • Previous security experience is required
  • Attentive to detail
  • Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous experience utilizing security equipment and protocols required
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background and drug)
  • Security Operations Center Experience is Required
  • Previous experience in security AND customer service fields

Responsibilities

  • Monitor emails, access control, and alarm systems in real-time.
  • Monitor the facility's CCTV to check for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances and exits, mechanical problems, and unauthorized people.
  • Dispatch field security officers and emergency responders during incidents.
  • Manage incoming phone calls and alerts via internal communications system, national weather, and act quickly and decisively.
  • Document incidents accurately in security electronic reporting platforms.
  • Follow standard operating procedures and escalation protocols.
  • Provide support during emergencies (fire, medical, intrusions, natural disasters).
  • Utilize internal communications systems, including radio, intercom, telephone, PA systems, and computer-based software with a high level of professionalism.
  • Operate facility badging software, including enabling and disabling badges.
  • Provide security support for various client projects and events.
  • Administer all client policies for controlling access to client property
