About The Position

This position is responsible for developing and implementing communication strategies to build and maintain a positive image for Baldwin EMC. The role involves designing, producing, and disseminating communication materials, creating content for various platforms, and assisting with website management. It also includes performing photography and videography, collaborating with stakeholders for consistent messaging, and developing/coordinating the employee wellness program.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Communications or related field.
Two years of experience in a public relations or communications role.
Basic computer skills with software applications (Windows, Excel, Word, Outlook).
Proficient in Adobe Acrobat, InDesign, and Photoshop.
Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement communication strategies to build and maintain a positive image for Baldwin EMC.
Designs, produces, and disseminates Baldwin EMC communication materials to members, employees, and the community.
Creates and develops communications content, graphic design materials, and digital media for various platforms, and assists with website management and the development of communication tools and technologies.
Performs photography and videography of cooperative-related activities and events to assist with education, communications, and public relations efforts.
Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging and to achieve communication goals.
Develops, coordinates, and facilitates the employee wellness program.
