The Women & Gender Studies Institute is distinctive for transnational feminist studies which critically addresses how national borders, colonialisms, labour and migration impact life, knowledge and politics. Reporting to the Director, this position will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and management of a variety of projects related to communications and outreach, with a focus on internal communications, external communication, and special project management. The incumbent will develop and maintain a well-planned and consistent internal communication plan connecting students, faculty, and staff in all programmes across the three campuses. Responsibilities for the external communication plan includes presence on social media, event planning and promotion, website management, media inquiries and newsletters, alumni outreach, and effective communication with relevant offices across the University. The position will also assist with developing and maintaining a well-planned and consistent student recruitment communications strategy.
