About The Position

Our client, a world leader in biotechnology and life sciences, is looking for a “ Communications Operations Manager ” based out of South San Francisco, CA (Hybrid). This is a hands-on role for an operations professional who thrives on bringing structure to complexity, coordinating multiple priorities, and enabling teams to work efficiently. The Communications Operations Manager will manage day-to-day team operations, coordinate internal engagement activities, maintain calendars and communication channels, develop processes and documentation, and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, solutions-focused, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced corporate environment.

Requirements

5–8 years of experience in corporate operations, administration, coordination, program management, communications operations, or a related field.
Proven experience managing multiple priorities and coordinating complex workstreams.
Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
Proactive, solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.
Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.

Nice To Haves

Experience supporting internal communications, corporate communications, or employee engagement teams.
Experience coordinating internal events, town halls, leadership meetings, or employee engagement programs.
Experience developing SOPs, templates, workflows, and process documentation.
Experience with knowledge management and shared drive organization.
Graphic design or presentation design experience is a plus.
