The role: Are you interested in gaining hands-on experience through government, public policy, or communications? Business Oregon, the state’s economic development agency, is seeking a Communications and Marketing Intern within Arts and Culture Division. Join a dedicated, positive group of individuals located throughout the state who are working to support arts and culture in Oregon. This is a full-time internship position starting in June 2026 and continuing through September 2026. The Arts & Culture Division of Business Oregon, through the Oregon Arts Commission and Oregon Cultural Trust, works to enhance the quality of life for all Oregonians through supporting arts, culture, history, heritage, and humanities in every corner of the state. This takes place through offering grant funding, fostering collaboration and celebrating the state’s vibrant cultural diversity, which is a cornerstone of communities. As an intern, you'll work under the supervision of the Arts & Culture senior program manager, and various staff within the Arts & Culture section. You will perform graphic design, website content refinement, communications, and special project functions. Business Oregon strives to create an inclusive environment that welcomes and values the diversity of the people we serve. We foster fairness, equity, and inclusion to create a workplace environment where everyone is treated with respect and dignity.
