About The Position

Anthropic is seeking an Enterprise Communications Manager to be a central figure in how the company engages with enterprise customers, partners, and buyers. This role encompasses a wide range of enterprise communications, including translating product launches for business audiences, developing industry-specific narratives (e.g., for financial services and healthcare), managing partnership and customer announcements, shaping executive thought leadership, defining competitive positioning, and creating content for key business stakeholders and users of Claude. The position requires strong project management skills, self-starting capabilities, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate will be adept at creating repeatable playbooks and managing launches, with experience in product and enterprise communications, and an understanding of how large organizations evaluate technology.

Requirements

  • Strong writing skills across formats, including blog posts, briefing documents, bylines, and social media.
  • Experience in enterprise communications across disciplines such as product, partner, customer, vertical, or executive comms.
  • Understanding of how CIOs, CISOs, and CFOs evaluate and adopt technology, with the ability to write credibly for them.
  • Experience building relationships with enterprise and business press.
  • Ability to manage both long-term messaging projects and urgent, same-day requests without compromising quality.
  • Sharp instincts for competitive positioning and messaging that withstands pressure.
  • Habit of using AI tools in work to enhance productivity.
  • Genuine interest in building AI responsibly and ability to adapt to shifting priorities.

Nice To Haves

  • 8-15+ years in enterprise communications, ideally in B2B technology or SaaS.
  • Experience across multiple enterprise communications disciplines (product, partner, customer, vertical, and executive).
  • AI or ML product communications experience.
  • Existing relationships with top enterprise technology, business, and industry reporters.

Responsibilities

  • Shape how model and product launches land with business buyers by turning technical capabilities into actionable insights for CIOs or CFOs.
  • Manage partnership and customer announcements end-to-end and build a library of proof points for sales and marketing.
  • Craft stories for priority industries like financial services and healthcare, and execute for events like Industry Days and The Briefing series.
  • Support Anthropic's commercial and product leaders in media interviews, on stage, and on social media.
  • Analyze the competitive landscape, develop contrasting messaging, and equip spokespeople and go-to-market teams with the necessary language and proof points.
  • Write across various formats, including blog posts, briefing documents, bylines, and social media.
  • Prepare executives for media interviews and speaking engagements.
  • Build relationships with key enterprise technology, business, and industry reporters.
  • Collaborate with sales, partnerships, product marketing, and international teams to create influential stories.
  • Develop playbooks to maximize the impact of a small team.
