About The Position

Eden is seeking a thoughtful and mission-driven Communications & Development Coordinator to help tell the story of what God is doing within our school community. This role is ideal for someone who finds joy in meaningful communication, relationship-building, and supporting the long-term mission of Christian classical education. Through newsletters, social media, donor engagement, and school storytelling, this person will help strengthen connections between Eden, its families, and its supporters while reflecting the warmth, beauty, and purpose that define our community. The ideal candidate is organized, creative, relational, and deeply aligned with Eden’s Christ-centered mission.

Requirements

• A spiritually healthy and growing Christian; committed to a Bible believing local church
• Highly organized in their time and execution of duties
• Excels in processes as well as creating and maintaining standard operating procedures
• Verbal and written communication that is warm, friendly and professional
• Capable with design and editing in platforms like Canva
• Able to plan at least one quarter in advance for all responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Draft and publish the weekly Head of School (HOS) newsletter
• Create and manage a monthly “partner newsletter” that highlights school life, student formation, and giving opportunities
• Maintain a consistent social media presence (approximately two posts per week), reflecting the beauty and mission of classical education
• Ensure all school-wide communications are timely, well-written, and consistent
• Maintain and update the school website with current information, announcements, and stories
• Assist the HOS in planning and executing annual fundraising initiatives, including the school’s primary fundraising campaign Feed the Need
• Assist the HOS in cultivating relationships with current and prospective donors, ensuring timely and personal acknowledgment of gifts
• Maintain accurate donor records and gift acknowledgment processes
• Help plan and execute donor appreciation and cultivation events
• Assist with Yearbook planning and creation throughout the year
