Additional information about the company can be found online at www.bwpipelines.com. The Communications Coordinator serves as the operational backbone of the Corporate Communications team. This role manages incoming communications requests, assists in coordinating employee engagement event logistics, supports social media publishing, and helps ensure the team operates with strong visibility, consistency, and accountability. This position is well suited for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple workstreams in a fast-paced corporate environment.

Requirements

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in communications, marketing, project coordination, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with limited oversight.
  • Experience with project management platforms such as Asana.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming communications requests across the organization.
  • Manage the intake process from submission through completion, including logging requests, confirming scope, validating deadlines, routing work, and tracking progress.
  • Maintain the team’s communications and project calendar.
  • Monitor competing priorities and flag potential capacity conflicts or timeline risks.
  • Help ensure communications work moves through the team in a timely and organized way.
  • Provide flexible day-to-day support across the Communications team based on business priorities and workload demands.
