About The Position

This position is responsible for teaching Fall and Spring face-to-face classes as available and assigned, in accordance with course competencies and syllabi. Several sections are available between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. The instructor will develop and/or utilize a variety of instructional strategies, techniques, and delivery methods designed to meet the individual learning styles of students. The role requires evaluating and reporting student performances and progress in courses according to College and division policies and procedures. The instructor must meet minimum faculty standards for hire and adhere to college policies and procedures. Only applicants who reside in Iowa, Nebraska, or South Dakota will be considered.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Communications or related field with 12 graduate-level semester credit courses in Communications and Speech.
  • Reside in Iowa, Nebraska, or South Dakota.

Nice To Haves

  • Teaching experience is preferred.
