Coordinates, plans, and conducts training for Common Sense Parenting. Maintains and communicates information to others regarding Common Sense Parenting training. Provides safe and effective services by adhering to policies related to safety and boundaries with service recipients, attending safety and abuse risk management training, and adhering to procedures related to managing high-risk activities and supervising service recipients. Reports suspicious or inappropriate behaviors and policy violations and follows mandated abuse reporting requirements. Oversees class management and performance related to Common Sense Parenting training by presenting classes as needed, establishing and maintaining a safe and productive learning environment, coordinating additional services as part of class preparation, reviewing survey responses to improve presentations, collecting and entering performance data, coaching parents effectively, and maintaining equipment and supplies. Utilizes own vehicle to travel to conduct training. Engages in outreach activities by representing the organization with community engagement efforts, soliciting potential funders, collaborating to reach participants, motivating them to attend and complete classes, presenting informational or marketing sessions, and acting as a liaison with community organizations. Travels to conduct outreach activities. Maintains current credentials and on-going trainer development by successfully completing the Common Sense Parenting Training for Trainers Workshop, participating in credentialing and program evaluation activities, participating with supervisor in active self-development, and completing required professional training workshops.
