About The Position

The Commodity Risk Management Analyst will be responsible for producing, validating, and reconciling market and operational risk reports, aligning closely with commercial operations. This role involves providing regular and ad hoc analysis on margin/P&L effects within the North American AS&O businesses and acting as a business partner to support commercial decision-making with risk position data. The analyst will also support the implementation of global CRM initiatives, partner with the commercial team to define/adjust risk position limits, monitor adherence, and escalate issues. Additionally, the role involves assisting with data-driven projects to enhance risk performance, accuracy, and insights.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Agriculture, Finance, Risk management, Economics or other relevant field
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of professional experience in finance, accounting, merchandising, or a related discipline.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong proficiency and hands-on experience with Power BI, including data analysis, reporting, and dashboard development
  • Exceptional analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Demonstrable ability to self-motivate and manage cross departmental priorities.
  • Open mindset for change and aptitude for continuous improvement

Nice To Haves

  • Programming languages like Python, SQL or others
  • Knowledge of Databricks a plus
  • Experience in Commodity Trading, both physical and derivative trades (preference Agricultural Market)

Responsibilities
