About The Position

The Commodity Manager PV/Bess leads sourcing initiatives for assigned categories and contributes to key projects as part of a global procurement team. The role operates within a collaborative, one-company environment across locations, with shared responsibility and clear accountability. The position is based in Tempe, Arizona.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 6–8 years of procurement experience, including sourcing and negotiation.
• Advanced user of procurement/CLM systems.
• Strong data analysis and reporting skills, including Excel and BI tools.
• Negotiation and influencing skills.
• Supplier relationship management skills.
• Project management skills.
• Risk assessment skills.
• Process improvement mindset.

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree or advanced coursework in supply chain or business.
• CIPS/ISM Level 4+ or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing initiatives for assigned categories.
• Conduct supplier negotiations and manage contracts in coordination with legal.
• Analyze spending and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Develop and implement process improvements.
• Coach and review the work of more junior procurement team members.
• Troubleshoot and resolve supply issues.
