What you will do: Manage assigned commodity buy lines, including sourcing, issuing purchase orders, and executing day-to-day vendor communications. Maintain strong working relationships with partner vendors to ensure competitive pricing, dependable supply, and timely issue resolution. Monitor inventory levels and open purchase orders to support product availability, demand forecasting, and replenishment processes. Actively manage and resolve back orders, shortages, and delivery delays in coordination with vendors, logistics, and internal teams. Review and resolve billing discrepancies, invoice mismatches, pricing issues, and work cross-functionally with accounting teams as needed. Participate in vendor performance reviews and support quality, delivery, and cost improvement initiatives. Assist with product transitions, line reviews, and sourcing initiatives, including cost-saving projects and supplier evaluations.

Requirements

  • Strong Excel and analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales and pricing data with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office (Excel proficiency required).
  • Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
