The Commissions Specialist role is a key opportunity within OneDigital, responsible for managing and reconciling group commission data within the SPARC CRM System. This position involves troubleshooting payment issues, assisting with case approvals and e-filing, identifying winning/losing Broker of Record (BOR) changes, distributing carrier correspondence, and maintaining critical broker partner information such as licenses and E&O insurance. The specialist will also process carrier appointment paperwork, manage carrier portal access for staff and partners, and foster communication among internal agents and broker partners, contributing to the overall maintenance and upkeep of the CRM system.

Requirements

  • High School diploma and/or GED equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant administrative experience, preferably in a broker or agency setting.
  • Demonstrated PC proficiency in an MS Office environment.
  • Proven knowledge and ability to work extensively with Excel software program.
  • Demonstrated customer service orientation.
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.

Nice To Haves

  • Proven experience with insurance carriers and products desired.

Responsibilities

  • Enter group commission data/statements into SPARC CRM System.
  • Reconcile data to assure that it is accurate and error-free.
  • Troubleshoot issues/problems relating to group commission payments and responds directly to agents and/or other representatives of office management.
  • Assist with approving/merging cases/splits.
  • Assist with e-filing all commission statements.
  • Identify IBC and AmeriHealth winning/losing BORs.
  • Identify agents/brokers on carrier lists as needed.
  • Distribute carrier renewals and correspondence as needed.
  • Update SPARC CRM with License and E & O Insurance for broker partners.
  • Maintain process of reviewing HHS OIG list.
  • Process carrier appointment paperwork for broker partners.
  • Maintain carrier portal access for internal staff and broker partners (if applicable).
  • Develop and maintain communications among internal agents and broker partners.
  • Participate in the maintenance and upkeep of the SPARC CRM system.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
