About The Position

The Commissions Analyst will be responsible for the preparation and processing of commissions, ensuring accuracy and meeting deadlines. This role involves resolving commission discrepancies, answering questions related to commission payments, and maintaining payout grids. The analyst will also conduct research on licensing and contracting, acting as a liaison between advisors, relationship managers, and other team members. A key part of the role includes researching and understanding commission structures for various insurance carriers and products, documenting these processes, and gathering/reviewing monthly commission statements. The analyst will also be tasked with resolving agent commission discrepancies and urgent commission needs.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree (Preferably: Finance/Business Administration/Mathematics/Accounting)
2 to 4 years of Life Insurance or Financial Services Experience
Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
Must have excellent time-management and organizational skills
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office including Excel
Must be able to multi-task, possess quick-thinking abilities and excellent attention to detail
