About The Position

This role involves supervising, training, and assisting other commissioning engineers while being responsible for all aspects of commissioning work in the assigned area. The position requires performing complex commissioning tasks for electrical power distribution systems and leading large projects that demand specialized skills and experience in building/data center design, operation, and maintenance. The engineer will be instrumental in developing advanced commissioning procedures and will also be involved in sales support functions, including client relationship management, proposal development, and business development activities. Additionally, the role requires representing the company as a lecturer on technical topics and potentially writing published articles.

Requirements

  • Graduate Engineer BSEE or BSME or and one year minimum same or similar work experience. At least (1) commissioning project including Design, Construction, and Post-Occupancy phase processes; OR
  • Graduate of applicable Commissioning Technical Training and two years minimum same or similar work experience. At least (2) commissioning projects including Design, Construction, and Post-Occupancy phase processes; OR
  • High school education or equivalent and five years minimum same or similar work experience. At least (5) commissioning projects including Design, Construction, and Post-Occupancy phase processes.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, train and assist other commissioning engineers while being responsible for all aspects of commissioning work in the area.
  • Perform complex aspects of commissioning of electrical power distribution systems.

  • Provide comprehensive project management.
  • Represent the company as a lecturer on technical topics.
  • Perform sales support functions.
  • Maintain strong client relationships.
  • Perform all functions pertaining to a written job proposal to a client, including estimate of man-hours and expenses, and development of scope and pricing.
  • Actively involved in client interface and business development activities.
  • Give effective technical presentations and may be required to write published articles.
  • Mentor other Commissioning Engineers.
  • Train and assist other Commissioning Engineers in the Company or Region.
