About The Position

Headquartered in Conyers, Georgia, Batchelor & Kimball takes pride in partnering with our clients to deliver excellent results from engineering and construction to operations and maintenance. We offer design/build and turnkey construction services, including teaming with selected subcontractors for electrical and general construction. Batchelor & Kimball is looking for a Commissioning Specialist (Mechanical) to join their team. This role requires a candidate with strong experience in Mechanical Construction projects who can work independently with minimal oversight. The Commissioning Specialist will be responsible for checklists, observations, meeting attendance, witnessing tests and procedures, customer satisfaction, and other duties as assigned. Requirements

Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
Consistent dependability and availability.
Ability to work in a fast-paced construction field and office environment
Have the aptitude to learn new systems.
General Mechanical Systems Knowledge.
Knowledge of commissioning processes, documentation and implementation.

Nice To Haves

1-5 years' experience in the field
Experience working with building owners is preferred
Interpret controls one line drawings for integration with equipment is a plus

Responsibilities

Understanding and following communication plans with internal and external stakeholders to communicate project status
Understanding project schedules, milestones, critical path, ability to identify future looking planning needs and constraints
Collaborate with technicians, team leads, and other PMs to perform project Cx tasks, meet schedule requirements, communication project progress, and review of plans / specifications and submittals’
Support customer satisfaction initiatives by building customer relationships, investigating concerns, implementing corrective actions as directed
Maintain customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, and communicating with internal and external customers
