This role is responsible for supporting the coordination with third-party Commissioning Agents on assigned projects, assisting with the review of scripts and deliverables, witnessing testing, and verifying the accuracy and completeness of results and evidence. The position involves performing spot checks of field testing and documentation to ensure adherence to the Sequence of Operations (SOO) and that test evidence supports the results. It also includes supporting Quality Assurance analysis, acting as a Gating Authority to confirm prerequisites and readiness for system commissioning, and managing the Commissioning Issue Log (Cx Log) to drive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for critical issues. The role collaborates with Site Operations for risk mitigation, holds General Contractors and vendors accountable to the commissioning schedule and technical design intent, and communicates status reports to management. Additionally, the position involves training third-party personnel on quality and commissioning programs, managing commissioning management platforms like Cx Alloy, and developing a feedback loop for continuous improvement of commissioning processes and strategies. The role also involves enforcing the project’s QA/QC Policy, providing technical leadership and oversight for QA Specialists, performing trend analysis to identify systemic patterns and drive corrective actions, and acting as a Level 3 to Level 4 Gatekeeper to validate readiness criteria. Responsibilities include ensuring equipment and system ancillary equipment are accessible and serviceable, assisting with BMS related issue resolution, QA/QC for speculative builds, negotiating vendor pricing, developing standardized reporting metrics, conducting annual reviews of policies and procedures, organizing the ADC runbook, and collaborating with multiple teams.
