The Commissioning Project Manager provides technical support and leadership to plan, schedule and execute full life cycle commissioning of critical facilities. This person participates in the MEP design review process and participates in functional testing of complex electrical and mechanical systems. The Commissioning Project Manager is responsible for supporting all aspects of a project. This person will work as part of the project team and interact closely with the owner, designers, contractors, subcontractors and other trades on projects in mission critical environments. The role may assist with developing and evaluating bid proposals, developing commissioning plans and schedules, facilitating communication and ensuring compliance with owner’s requirements, applicable laws, and specifications. This person will collaborate with design engineers, construction contractors, equipment vendors, client staff and the commissioning team to test, validate and make operational newly installed and operational electrical and mechanical systems including those in mission critical facilities. The Commissioning Project Manager will receive limited direction on day-to-day work and general instruction on new projects or assignments. Will execute commissioning and assist project leadership on projects of complex scope. Will work independently or under limited supervision. This person will communicate and operate in line with organizational goals and values, as well as departmental objectives.
