Toyota Automated Logistics Americas, LLC is seeking a Commissioning Engineer to conduct electrical engineering analysis and assist in the designing, testing, programming, and commissioning of material handling projects. This role involves material handling integration, programming using Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and Human-Machine Interfaces (HMI), and creating electrical drawings and schematics using AutoCAD. Responsibilities include concept and research, network design, panel design, ACAD layout, device troubleshooting, PLC/VLC programming, HMI tagging, on-site installation, debugging, and on-site commissioning. The engineer will also run simulations, perform electrical installations, debug programs, troubleshoot and modify electrical wiring, and update electrical schematics. Additionally, the role requires creating and updating AutoCAD drawings for as-installed packages, implementing commissioning and documenting settings for system devices (including IP addresses, photo eye logic functions, and drive parameters), utilizing Studio 5000 and PF525 programming, and conducting the full scope of controls project services. The position also involves researching and communicating information regarding suppliers, customers, and competition, and developing processes to support process improvement.
