About The Position

As a Commissioning Agent in our Mission Critical Market Space, you will help us empower our clients to achieve energy-efficient building solutions, save global environments, and create a better, greener future for all. You will help us empower our data center clients to trust in the reliability of their mission critical systems to preserve data, protect assets, and save lives. You’ll also lead efforts to achieve energy-efficient building solutions and help operators improve their ability to safely and effectively manage the data center. You will work in a multi-disciplined and cross-trained team of commissioning professionals in a team-oriented atmosphere. Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of commissioning experience for data center or mission critical facilities.
  • Technical or Associate Degree from an accredited technical institution or college; or commensurate design or construction experience in mechanical, electrical, and/or controls systems.
  • General understanding of building systems across all design disciplines. A more detailed understanding of power distribution, cooling systems, and controls desired.
  • Ability to learn to interpret guidelines, standards, and best practices related to data center construction.
  • Ability to become proficient with software programs for business as well as could-based commissioning and construction: Microsoft Word, Excel, CxAlloy, Autodesk BIM360, ACCBuild, and similar.
  • Ability to travel as required by the project. We do not promote long-term deployments to site.
  • Willingness to become OSHA certified.
  • Valid driver’s license and state required vehicle insurance.

Responsibilities

  • Resolving commissioning challenges and completing tasks assigned, including developing and implementing the Level 1 – 5 commissioning process delivery set forth in Owner’s Project Requirements (OPR), Basis of Design (BOD), plans and specifications.
  • Overseeing and executing the quality observation and testing in the field.
