You will be responsible for analyzing and calculating commission payments for our sales team, as well as working closely with the sales and finance teams to ensure accuracy and consistency in commission related data. This role also serves as the primary administrator for the company's commission software platform. You will have an opportunity in this role to train users on how to utilize the data and in the commission software to drive business results.

Requirements

Analytical mindset and attention to detail.
Ability to work with large amounts of data.
High level of knowledge in using Excel; including performing V-Lookups and creating Pivot Tables.
Proficiency in PowerBI
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain complex calculations to users
Strong team player who can work collaboratively across different teams.
Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Data Management or related field
Minimum 3 years of experience in commission analysis or related role

Responsibilities

Calculate and process commission payments for sales team
Perform commission analysis to identify errors and discrepancies
Collaborate with Sales and Finance teams to resolve issues with commission payments
Prepare commission reports and provide recommendations for process improvement
Maintain accurate commission records and documentation
Analyze commission data and provide insights that drive performance improvements
Work with other teams to ensure accurate and timely payment of commissions
Create and maintain reports that track commission earnings and payouts
Collaborate with sales teams to help them understand the commission structure and how their earnings are calculated
Occasionally attend sales meetings or present findings to management teams
Participate as the Commissions Subject Matter Expert on Commissions-related projects
Drive requirements for Commissions Process and/or Technology improvements
Identify Test Scenarios for Commissions projects and participate in User Acceptance Testing for Commissions projects
Maintain the commission software system, making updates as necessary
Provide ongoing feedback on training needed for users
