The Production Team Member is responsible for preparing, cooking, and packaging food products in a safe, efficient, and high-quality manner. This role supports daily production operations while upholding Gold Star’s commitment to food safety, quality, and teamwork.
Requirements
- Ability to measure, track, and record production data
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work safely and follow procedures consistently

- Lift and carry 40–60 lbs frequently and repetitively
- Stand for extended periods of time
- Bend, kneel, reach, and climb ladders as needed
- Work in varying conditions:
- Indoor production environment
- Coolers (approx. 40°F)
- Heat and humidity up to 120°F during summer months
- Exposure to water, cleaning chemicals, raw meat, and loud noise
- Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE)
Responsibilities
- Assemble, operate, disassemble, clean, and inspect food processing equipment
- Follow standardized procedures to cook and package food products
- Accurately weigh ingredients using batch formulas and scales
- Pack finished products into pouches and cases
- Stack and stage finished goods for shipment
- Set up boxes and prepare materials for production runs
- Maintain a clean and organized production environment
- Perform general housekeeping and sanitation duties
- Follow all food safety and employee safety procedures at all times
