About The Position

Four Seasons Hotel Toronto is looking for a Full-Time d|bar Commis II who shares our passion for food and cooking and is willing to learn from and contribute to our culinary team. The Commis II works together with other team members on a daily basis to ensure a flawlessly executed final product. The position also requires continuous standing for up to 8 hours per shift and the ability to lift up to 50lbs. All applicants must have a flexible schedule with the ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays. The ideal candidate will have an outgoing personality and a can-do approach to any task.

Requirements

• Passionate about cuisine.
• Attention to detail.
• Strong work ethic.
• Ability to work harmoniously with co-workers and supervisors.
• Ability to read and follow menus and recipes.
• Complete basic mathematical calculations.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work within a team environment.
• Trained and certified in safe food handling.
• Proficient knife skills.
• Continuous standing for up to 8 hours per shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Flexible schedule with the ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Outgoing personality.
• Can-do approach to any task.
• Minimum 1 year previous Kitchen/Cook experience in a fast-paced food and beverage operation.
• Command of English language.
• Possess legal work authorization in Canada.

• Culinary training degree is preferred.
• Food Handlers Certification is an asset.
