About The Position

The Shipper & Receiver will play a key role in receiving, shipping, and processing inventory at our facility. We are looking for a positive and dynamic person who enjoys working as part of a team and wants to contribute to the team’s success.

Requirements

Commitment to complying with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and its regulations.
Proven experience in the field of warehousing and logistics (preferably 1 to 3 years).
Skills in the safe operation of a forklift, a reach truck, and a pallet jack.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational skills and great attention to detail.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a high-performing team.
Willingness to learn and adapt.

Nice To Haves

Experience with a warehouse management system (WMS) such as Business Central or similar is preferred.

Responsibilities

Inspect packages upon arrival and report any damaged goods to the carrier and the operations manager.
Unpack products and organize shipments for receiving.
Compare the quantities and identification numbers of the goods with the orders to verify their accuracy; report any discrepancies.
Ensure that the physical products match the shipping documents and purchase orders.
Properly store received goods and facilitate inventory movements within the warehouse.
Accurately pick orders and securely pack products to minimize damage during transit.
Count products, taking into account quantities and lot/serial numbers, and record the results on the corresponding sheets.
Conduct secondary counts in the event of discrepancies and report any issues to the warehouse manager.
Stay informed about new products and promotions.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including emptying trash cans and disposing of waste safely.
Occasionally cork bottles as needed.
