About The Position

CatFace is seeking a contract commercial video and photo editor to support its Marketing team with merchandise launches, campaigns, and external brand partnerships through high-quality post-production. The editor will turn raw assets into polished, campaign-ready content that meets CatFace brand standards and business objectives. Work includes animated advertisements, live-action commercials, product marketing videos, ecommerce photography, and lifestyle imagery for digital advertising, ecommerce, social media, and other marketing channels.

Requirements

• Experience editing commercial, advertising, marketing, or branded content.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Experience with Adobe After Effects and motion graphics workflows.
• Experience editing both video and photography assets.
• Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, and visual communication.
• Experience working with voiceovers, sound design, music, and audio mixing.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and file organization skills.

Responsibilities

• Edit commercial content for merchandise launches, seasonal campaigns, and external brand partnerships.
• Assemble and refine live-action, animated, and mixed-media advertisements.
• Create final edits optimized for YouTube, streaming platforms, websites, and social media.
• Adapt content into multiple formats and aspect ratios for different platforms.
• Add and mix voiceovers, music, sound effects, and audio enhancements.
• Ensure audio quality, timing, and pacing align with creative and marketing goals; balance dialogue, sound design, and music.
• Create motion graphics for marketing and advertising campaigns, including animated logos, titles, callouts, end cards, and promotional graphics.
• Enhance 2D illustration assets with motion, transitions, visual effects, and graphic treatments.
• Support animated advertising projects with compositing and light visual effects work.
• Edit and retouch ecommerce product and lifestyle photography, including color correction, cleanup, cropping, and optimization.
• Prepare images for ecommerce listings and marketing materials and export web-ready assets to platform specifications.
• Work with Marketing to execute campaign concepts and incorporate feedback and revisions while maintaining project timelines.
• Organize project files and maintain clean asset management practices.
• Ensure deliverables meet CatFace brand standards and quality expectations.
