The Treasury Management Associate I (TMA I) position is responsible for effectively developing, expanding, and servicing new and existing customer relationships through a specialization in business deposits and Treasury Management (TM) banking services and products.

Requirements

  • A 2-year degree in a Business or Finance-related field is normally required. Additional experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.
  • A minimum of 2-3 (two to three) years’ experience in banking is normally required.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to type at least 50 wpm
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office software such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Fluent communication in the English language
  • Ability to travel between Bank and client locations as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Provide client training for all TM services, including but not limited to ACH processing, business internet banking, sweep accounts, positive pay, wire transfers, and Remote Deposit Capture, Virtual Vault, and Lockbox.
  • Complete system set up and maintenance for existing and new TM products and services.
  • Prepare customer documents required to establish or maintain TM services and assist with gathering required documentation for commercial deposit accounts.
  • Enhance existing customer relationships through the introduction of new services/products that improve customer satisfaction.
  • Identify and develop prospects for deposit and TM services into new relationships.
  • Identify appropriate deposit and TM products and services for customers and prospects, coordinate set-up and implementation.
  • Provide direct customer support responding to general and technical inquiries via phone or email, related to TM services/systems and commercial deposit account inquiries.
  • Assist business customers who have experienced fraud on their account.
  • Conduct annual relationship reviews to ensure proper pricing and additional engagement opportunities are identified.
  • Conduct joint calls with Sales Officer to assist with technical support.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable policies and regulations as well as the monthly, quarterly and annual review requirements for TM clients.
  • Assist Retail team with TM services referrals.
  • Provide specialized departmental support within the organization.
  • Remain fully trained and knowledgeable in all compliance-related areas of CSB including, but not limited to: BSA, OFAC, Reg E, Reg CC, etc.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
