About The Position
Fountain Tire Vernon is looking for a responsible, safe and dedicated associate to join our team as a Commercial Tire Technician! This role offers a variety of tasks, from inspecting, installing, balancing, rotating, and repairing various types of tires on different vehicles to interacting with customers. The ideal candidate will be up for the challenge of unpredictable weather and physical demands, ensuring customer safety and satisfaction.
Requirements
- Experience working with commercial and farm (fluid filled) tires
- A valid driver’s license
- Ability to provide a satisfactory passenger or commercial Driver’s Abstract
- Ability to work in unpredictable, physical, wet, cold, and windy conditions
- Ability to lift 100 pounds if required
Responsibilities
- Inspecting, installing, balancing, rotating, and/or repairing truck, forklift (solid/air filled), farm (fluid filled/air filled), or industrial/OTR tires
- Greeting and communicating with customers on all aspects of repair, service and tire sales
- Working on passenger and light truck vehicles
- Providing professional and friendly customer service
- Keeping yourself and coworkers safe on the job
