About The Position
Fountain Tire Surrey Port Kells is looking for a responsible, safe, and dedicated associate to join their team as a Commercial Tire Technician. This role involves a variety of tasks related to commercial tires, customer service, and ensuring safety on the job. The work environment can be unpredictable, physical, wet, cold, and windy, and the ideal candidate must be prepared for these conditions and be available for on-call after-hours service.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of commercial tire experience in a professional setting
- Possess a valid class 5 driver’s license
- Able to provide a satisfactory passenger or commercial Driver’s Abstract
- Ability to be on call after hours
- Must be able to lift 100 pounds if required
Responsibilities
- Inspecting, installing, balancing, rotating, and/or repairing truck, farm, industrial and/or OTR tires
- Greeting and communicating with customers on all aspects of repair, service and tire sales
- Providing professional and friendly customer service
- Keeping yourself and coworkers safe on the job
