About The Position

Citibank, N.A. seeks a Commercial Subsidiaries Group Relationship Manager for its Atlanta, GA location. This role involves capturing banking business opportunities from Korea-outbound corporate clients investing in the U.S. The manager will partner with product specialists to offer a full spectrum of corporate banking solutions, addressing the financial needs of multinational clients. This includes understanding unique client needs and delivering innovative solutions across cash management, foreign exchange, trade finance, custody and clearing, loans, capital markets, derivatives, and structured products. Collaboration with investment bankers is key to providing investment banking capabilities to global clients. The role also drives Citi's global network initiatives, focusing on Korean-based companies with U.S. subsidiaries, leveraging knowledge of local industries and markets to provide tailored financial solutions. Responsibilities include client outreach to deepen relationships, proactively managing client needs, risks, and expectations, and building an effective portfolio. The manager will work with specialists to structure customized solutions and network to identify new business opportunities. A significant part of the role involves administering credit relationships, ensuring adherence to policies and processes. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business Administration, Finance, or related field
  • Ten (10) years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation providing a full array of corporate banking solutions to serve the financial needs of multi-national clients.
  • Ten (10) years of experience supporting credit finance and investment banking products and delivering international treasury and cash management solutions
  • Ten (10) years of experience understanding credit policies and credit parameters
  • Ten (10) years of experience handling financing alternatives, cash management, treasury and trade solutions
  • Ten (10) years of experience performing foreign exchange solutions for currencies and trading and hedging solutions to cover interest rate, FX, and commodities risks
  • Ten (10) years of experience understanding Korean local policies and procedures, including cross-border business operations, credit and business practices, financing instruments, and KYC regulation
  • Ten (10) years of experience applying debt rating models and returns on risk capital models
  • Ten (10) years of experience using customer relationship management tools, including Salesforce

Responsibilities

  • Capture banking business opportunities from Korea-outbound corporate clients investing in the U.S.
  • Partner with product specialists to provide a full array of corporate banking solutions to serve the financial needs of multi-national clients.
  • Understand the unique needs of each client and deliver innovative solutions covering a wide range of financial service areas, from cash management, foreign exchange, trade finance, custody and clearing, to loans, capital markets, derivatives, and structured products.
  • Partner with investment bankers to deliver solutions that provide investment banking capabilities to global clients.
  • Drive Citi's global network initiatives to enhance access of the bank’s subsidiaries within the Citi network, focusing on Korean-based companies with subsidiaries in the U.S.
  • Use knowledge of local industries and markets to deliver a steady stream of innovative financial solutions tailored to the specific local needs and subsidiaries of Korea.
  • Call on clients to deepen relationships and proactively own, respond to, uncover, and anticipate future needs, roadblocks, risks, and expectations.
  • Introduce solutions to clients in building and strengthening an effective portfolio.
  • Work with product specialists and subject matter experts to structure customized solutions.
  • Network with clients to identify avenues for new business opportunities.
  • Administrate credit relationships of the client, coordinating and supervising the entire process to ensure proper application of policies and institutional processes.
