About The Position

Ilant Health is a value-based healthcare provider focused on cardiometabolic obesity. They are dedicated to increasing access to treatment while reducing the total cost of care for employers and payers. They are a technology-enabled practice driven by analytics, aiming to personalize care through a multidisciplinary team and an advanced digital platform. The role is for an analytical operator, ideally an ex-management consultant or recent top-tier MBA graduate, to serve as the analytical engine and commercial builder for Ilant Health. This position sits at the intersection of commercial strategy, financial modeling, deal execution, and internal AI operations. The individual will be responsible for turning complex deal dynamics into decision-ready materials, auditing deal economics, running competitive intelligence, and owning the RFP/RFI strategy. A key aspect of the role is building an internal "company brain" by creating workflows to capture and synthesize market feedback, buyer objections, and commercial data into structured insights for Product and Strategy teams. This is a detail-oriented, internally focused role for a data-driven builder who is rigorous about accuracy, comfortable building models, and energized by ambiguity. The role does not involve carrying a quota but aims to make those who do more effective. Additionally, the role will explore and implement AI solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience at a top-tier management consulting firm (McKinsey, BCG, Bain, or equivalent strategy firm) or recent graduate from a top-tier MBA program.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets modeling skills; comfortable auditing complex logic, building scenario models from scratch, and catching formula errors.
  • Proven ability to manage multi-stakeholder processes under tight deadlines (RFPs, deliverables, cross-functional projects).
  • Exceptional writing and presentation skills — can build a compelling deck, write a sharp memo, and tailor messaging to different audiences.
  • An active builder mindset toward generative AI — understanding how to leverage LLMs, prompt frameworks, or automation scripts to streamline knowledge work.
  • Hands-on experience using generative AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Zapier/Make, or APIs) to build workflows, summarize complex inputs, or structure unstructured text.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in healthcare, digital health, health benefits, or enterprise B2B environments; healthcare consulting experience a plus.
  • Familiarity with employer health benefit economics, capitated/risk-based contracting, or pricing structures.
  • Startup or high-growth experience; comfort operating without established playbooks.
  • Basic familiarity with commercial CRM systems (Salesforce, Hubspot, etc) and BI platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Build and audit customized financial models, ROI analyses, and pricing scenarios for prospective employer, payer, and broker clients.
  • Support proposal economics and ensure financial assumptions used in deals align with internal financial planning.
  • Partner with leadership to produce 3–5 page decision decks, executive board memos, pitch decks, and client-facing FAQs.
  • Partner with the Data team to translate Ilant’s outcomes and analytics into compelling, defensible evidence that advances deals.
  • Communicate outcome and ROI claims so they withstand scrutiny from sophisticated buyers and their actuarial and analytics advisors.
  • Maintain CRM hygiene and pipeline reporting, keeping rep-level data quality, pipeline accuracy, and stage progression current.
  • Own the end-to-end RFP/RFI response process, including intake, project plan, drafting, cross-functional input, and on-time, accurate submission.
  • Build and maintain the RFP content library, keeping answers current, version-controlled, and consistent with approved clinical, regulatory, and security information.
  • Partner with Marketing to design and maintain pitch decks, ROI summaries, one-pagers, customer-facing FAQs, and internal execution playbooks.
  • Translate dense clinical, contracting, and benefit-design concepts into clear, decision-ready collateral for buyer-facing teams.
  • Track competitors, market shifts, and buyer dynamics across employer, payer, and broker channels; maintain battlecards and positioning guidance.
  • Translate complex market and competitive data into clear, actionable guidance for the sales team.
  • Leverage modern tools and internal knowledge-management frameworks to maintain a rigorous, version-controlled RFP repository.
  • Propose and implement better ways of working within the commercial "machinery" with a continuous-improvement mindset.
