About The Position

Axtria is looking for a Commercial Solutions Global CoE Leader to build and lead a lean team of deep domain experts in the pharma commercial space, including Medical Affairs, Omnichannel & Customer Engagement, and Patient Services & Hub Operations. The CoE Leader will be accountable for creating reusable, production-grade AI accelerators and agentic solutions grounded in real pharma commercial workflows, converting innovation into funded client engagements with quantified ROI, co-selling with account teams while simultaneously transferring knowledge so they can independently position and defend solutions, fueling competitive displacement wins, and transforming the talent base for the agentic AI era. The role enhances Axtria’s AI & Data portfolio by embedding deep commercial domain expertise into every solution we build. The critical area of focus for this role is to have deep understanding of pharma commercial operations and extensive experience in commercial technologies, data ecosystems, and decision-support capabilities underpinning medical affairs, omnichannel engagement, and patient services activities. It is important that this person be senior and well-connected in the industry with a significant network of client and partner relationships. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading large-scale commercial solution initiatives, driving innovation at the intersection of domain and AI, and fostering strong partnerships with key stakeholders. This role will define how deep pharma commercial expertise is embedded into AI and Data solutions at scale. This is not a traditional consulting role, delivery leadership role, or internal innovation job. This is a build, sell, and scale role. You will operate with a startup mindset, but with the scale, credibility, and client access of a market leader.

Requirements

  • 20+ years in life sciences with deep commercial expertise in at least two of:
  • Medical Affairs
  • Omnichannel & Customer Engagement
  • Patient Services / Hub Operations
  • Commercial Operations / Sales Effectiveness
  • Strong understanding of pharma commercial data ecosystems (claims, Rx, CRM, digital, field, medical, patient)
  • Proven experience building solution practices, CoEs, or repeatable accelerators
  • Demonstrated GTM and co‑selling capability
  • Fluency in AI, GenAI, and agentic AI concepts (no coding required)
  • Ability to translate complex AI into clear executive narratives
  • A strong pharma network that accelerates credibility and access
  • High integrity, strong judgment, and comfort operating in ambiguity

Responsibilities

  • Lead end‑to‑end innovation for commercial solutions across Medical Affairs, Omnichannel, and Patient Services
  • Create reusable, production‑grade AI accelerators and agentic solutions embedded in pharma commercial workflows
  • Move solutions quickly from concept → pilot → client‑validated offerings
  • Convert innovations into funded, multi‑quarter client engagements
  • Co‑sell with Client Partners as a senior domain advisor to pharma commercial leaders
  • Produce competitive battle cards, win strategies, and displacement playbooks
  • Generate net‑new pipeline attributable to CoE‑originated solutions
  • Transfer knowledge so account teams can independently position, demo, and defend solutions
  • Build GTM playbooks, POVs, case studies, and thought leadership used actively in pursuits
  • Ensure solutions are repeatable, scalable, and priced for growth
  • Build and mentor a team of Pharma Domain & Business Solution Leaders
  • Drive measurable upskilling in AI / GenAI / agentic AI frameworks
  • Create a results‑driven culture focused on impact over activity
  • Remain personally engaged in client advisory, solution architecture, and delivery leadership
  • Maintain personal billability while shaping CoE strategy
