About The Position

The Commercial Servicing Team Lead provides advanced support for Commercial loans throughout the onboarding and servicing lifecycle. This role helps ensure accurate, timely loan servicing while balancing service quality, regulatory compliance, and strong relationship management.

Requirements

Understand and comply with all regulations, including the Community Reinvestment Act, Bank Secrecy Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, etc.
Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
Expert knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, and other office procedures.
When learning or teaching new things, select and use training/instructional methods and procedures appropriate for the situation.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
6+ years of relevant experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Nice To Haves

at least 5 years of supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Onboard commercial loans into the loan system for various types of lending verticals.
Partner closely with Loan Coordinators to ensure the timeliness and accuracy of daily loan closings.
Process incoming payments, conversions and rate changes accurately and efficiently.
Ensure payment accuracy is met and work with Agent Banks and Lending Teams to resolve discrepancies.
Process advance requests, including submission to the wire department.
Collaborate with Lending Teams to maintain a positive client experience through excellent customer service.
Communicate with clients to answer questions and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Assist with imaging loan documents and daily activity.
Responsible for daily balancing of work in process accounts.
Train & mentor junior-level associates, reviewing their work as needed.
Monitor team email boxes and work- in- process items to ensure requests are completed accurately and on time.
Assess training needs and plan monthly team meetings.
Handle complex situations and escalate issues to higher levels when appropriate.
