Requirements

  • High school diploma required plus additional banking courses.
  • Three to five years Loan Servicing experience or some comparable combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide quality customer service to support the Commercial/Consumer/Residential Loan Servicing departments including but not limited to setting up new loans and loan modifications on the Bank’s Core System.
  • Handle inquiries and requests of personal/business customers, lending officers and branch personnel.
  • Generate monthly and quarterly reports including insurance force placement billing, SBA 1502 Reporting and general ledger reconciliation.
  • Service and administer the remittance of Participation and Investor loans.
  • Research and provide required documentation of all audit and legal process requests.
  • Ensure the departmental goals are met, and policies and procedures are up to date.
  • Perform and support the daily function of scanning loan and financial documents and the Quality Control Review of scanned documents.
  • Ensure company service standards are continually achieved in area of responsibility.
  • Manage and handle the daily scanning and indexing of loan files, financial statements, and tax returns, provide scanning system training to co-workers.
  • Analyze and remit escrowed loans tax payments and track non-escrowed loans; provide support to borrowers for annual escrow analysis.
  • Accurately research all legal process requests.
  • Provide timely release of loan collateral.
  • Quality control review of loan files and documentation.
  • Provide payoff figures and prepare collateral full and partial releases.
  • Monthly reconciliation of departmental general ledger accounts.
  • Monthly remittance and administration of participation and Investor loans.
  • Prepare correspondence for various Commercial/Consumer/Residential servicing tasks.
  • Ensure accurate system field setups for insurance tracking and force placement.
  • Promptly and professionally answer customer inquiries, handle lending officer inquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Accurate and timely processing of Commercial Line of Credit and Construction loan advances.
