About The Position

Duffy’s AIS is looking for an experienced Commercial Service Technician to join their team. This role involves troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing commercial kitchen equipment, performing preventative maintenance, and providing emergency service calls. The technician will be the field representative for Duffy’s AIS, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining business operations. The role requires strong technical skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to work independently while representing the company professionally. The technician will also be responsible for managing parts orders, completing service paperwork, maintaining their service vehicle, and participating in an on-call rotation. Ongoing training is provided to ensure technicians stay up-to-date with the latest equipment and service techniques.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of commercial refrigeration, HVAC, commercial kitchen equipment, or related service experience; 5+ years preferred.
• Strong electrical, electronic, and mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Dependable, organized, and professional
• Valid driver's license and driving record that meets company safety standards
• Ability to successfully complete a background check and drug screen
• Must be at least 18 years old

Nice To Haves

• 5+ years of commercial refrigeration, HVAC, and/or foodservice service experience
• EPA 608 Certification
• CFESA Certification
• Factory training or related manufacturer certifications
• Related military experience

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing commercial kitchen equipment
